I like Oprah about her generosity and
her love for the humanity. But hearing
straight from her mouth, that Jesus is not the only way..
I was totally disappointed.
So much questions in my mind right now...
Why people keeps on inventing God?
Is God to be invented or discovered?
Christians let's not allow everybody falls
in a false prophet.
This is a call to all christians
that this is the time to act!

Youth Ministry Zone - First Retreat
On April 18-19, 2007 , Youth Ministry Zone will be going off for a retreat in Montalban, Rizal. I really had a vision that it will be a great day for the new and growing youth Christians.
It will be a one night camp only but it will be a life-changing event for the rest of us.
A vision that God will touch everyone's heart to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
The night would be a great night. Aside from the moonlight, the evening will be lit up by a bonfire which will be called a Bonfire Thanksgiving Activity.
This activity will refresh everyone's mind and heart by giving back the glory to God. All the best things that God gave and all the not-so-good things that's hard to forget.
it will be a night of fun and games. Discovery of God's gift.
Everyone will experience Jericho Walk.
And Everyone will experience God.....

Youth Ministry - The Young Prof on a Mission
Today, our 4th week out of the 13-week Follow-up Lessons for New and Growing Christians. Where not even half-through with it but still God is good for giving us enough strength to do mission after the sunday's service. Our topic for today : Assurance of Forgiveness.
Preparations: Hand-out notes, Merienda, and Announcement
Before we will start our bible study for each lessons we make sure that every youth should have a hand-out material.
Merienda should be good if not delicious.
Announcement must be well disseminated.

Youth Ministry - SPIRITUAL IDIOMS
Our pastor talked about the Three spiritual idioms for our faith. This could be used in leading your Youth Ministry too. So I would use his idioms but I'll give another insights out from those.
First, "Discover your ax." This tells that we need to strengthen each one of the members in the ministry. Empowering each other will help to grow every member and to grow the ministry as a whole at large. Satan is always hanging around waiting to invade each one's minds. When Jesus told Simon at Luke 22:31 "Simon,Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as a wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, stregthen your brothers." This verse clearly states that even our faith would falter, would not be crushed and burned. It would be renewed and Peter would become a powerful leader.
Second, "Dump the junks." God doesn't make a junk. If ever one of the member would pull the whole ministry down, then it's time for a serious talk with that one. In John 15:5 Jesus said "I am the vine; you are the branches.If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be given.This is to my father's glory, that you bear much fruit,showing yourselves to be my disciples."
Last, "Dare to jump a little higher." If we want to glorify God, let's give him the best what we can give! There's nothing wrong in trying our best for Him and catch something higher for the Lord. Paul said in Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things."

Why Youth Ministry Zone is Born?
"The youth is the hope of the nation." is somewhat overused. I would like to rephrase it into more urgent statement. "If the youth is nurtured with right values and hope, they could be the hope of the nation." Yes, I do believe that the youth right now is in the deep need of attention. If they don't see right values and hope from us as young adults, adults and super adults, then how can they be the hope?
I could say this because I observed this after the third week of ministry I'm having with the youth in Batasan Quezon City. A number of youth us is willing to wait for us to hear the truth about the special revelation of God. They are willing to learn about Love, Grace and Hope. They are willing but small number of people like you and me are willing to teach and nurture them.
That's why Youth Ministry Zone is born. To give them Compassion and Community. This will be a call to all the people out there that this is the time to emerge into the community of youth to give them compassion and hope. This is a notice to everybody that we need to engage now because time ticks faster. This is the right time to lead them without a need of election. We can be leaders in our own way. Let's give and show HOPE for them so they could be the HOPE of our nation and to the entire humanity as a whole.
